QRPGuys K7QO Code Practice Oscillator – Retired
Retired and replaced by the KD1JV Code Trainer-Click here
Chuck Adams (K7QO) needed a simple code practice oscillator for his code course that was inexpensive and easy to build. This is a 1” x 2” PCB through hole kit with all the components and an easy build project for first time kit builders. You connect your key via the 3.5mm jack, with either a stereo or mono connector. It is powered by a CR2032 3v lithium coin battery (not supplied), for long life. Allow 30 minutes to build. On a difficulty scale of 1 to 5, 5 being the most difficult, this is rated at 1.
