QRPGuys – Unique kits for the budget ham
QRPGuys is a organization of hams that offers budget and unique ham radio kits. Our specialty is low cost, high enjoyment kits for the kit builder that can be assembled in an evening or two. The criteria for our kit designs, are items that are unique in some way, combine features not normally seen, easy to build, low in cost, and provide satisfaction in completion. Our kits are limited in number, usually to a run of 100 units. We lean towards board only projects, however if a chassis is indicated, we will provide directions for a homemade option in PCB material, or an inexpensive commercial alternative. Complete, detailed, illustrated manuals are on the website as .pdf’s. We ship product via First Class U.S.P.S. every Wednesday.
