KD1JV Super Pro PTO 40 Receiver

 

Steve (KD1JV) has designed a 40m superhet receiver using the WA4MNT PTO mechanism. It covers the entire 40 meter band, with the 24 turn PTO mechanism. It uses four J310 FET’s for the two mixers, three pole crystal 4.9152 MHz I.F., and BCI filtering on the front end. RIT control, built in high or low muting circuits for matching to a companion transmitter, and connections for an optional digital dial are included. All through hole construction.
